Rrrrr!
*grumble* *kicks Opera*
Never buying fish from PetCo ever again.
/NOT/ impressed with their service. Not impressed with their employees, and DEFINITELY not impressed with their so-called 'experts'.
Bad enough they had dead fish - obviously dead, mind you - in the tanks. Bad enough the person in the area /walked away/ when I mentioned it to him.
Worse still when I decide to buy a couple of fish anyway (couple of female mollies - we'll try this breeding thing..) the silly bint tells me (after I answered her question about my tank and how many fish I had to begin with.. truthfully) that I'll have too many fish in the tank if I add two more.
I know this. THAT is why I am going to remove a bunch of them. (female bettas are coming out of that tank - I'll take 'em downstairs, if I have to..) However, even after I told her that they could /keep/ their 15 day gaurantee (If you lose a fish within that time, they'll replace it. Free.) she had to call their 'expert'. (WHY wasn't this 'expert' on the floor, minding his tanks? *shakes head*)
Then she tells me, okay, I'll sell you the fish, but we can't gaurantee them. Rrrrr. Fine.
Then I find out she doesn't even know the difference between male and female livebearers. I nearly told her to give ME the net, and I'd catch my own damn fish. I was kind. I showed her the difference, instead.
Phf. Ain't going back. I do /not/ need to be lectured about keeping fish by a DOG person who probably can't tell the difference between corydoras julii and corydoras sterbai - and probably hasn't got a clue about raising fish, (Not that I do, but I'm going to try it anyway, and if I lose a few - well, thems the breaks..) and probably doesn't have a tank at home anyway.
Bleh. Chain petstores. Bleh. I want fish, I'll go to Kraemers - the lady there knows her shit. Or to the Cabana - their fish guy has a clue, and even the guy who keeps the marine tanks and doesn't know freshwater fish has three quarters of a brain. ^^
Got some more sketches to scan - which means another backlog in a few days, I guess. That oughta amuse the masses - the ones not bored stupid by my fish-difficulties. ^^
Anyone interested in the Venus Transit?
http://www.astronomy.no - live feed from here, and probably still pics later. ^^
