Of this and that and feeling swamped.
Which I'm pretty sure I'm /not/, since I'm taking one less credit this term than I was last term. However, I am still feeling inexplicably swamped. Maybe it's because I'm over at PCC more often this term, because I'm taking more short classes....
Weird. Anyway.
Other than that, not much happening. The local Honours society (Phi Theta Kappa) has invited me to join the ranks, citing mass opportunities and other bells, whistles and goodies as good reason to take 'em up on it. They require participation, of course, but I'm sure I can handle /that/. Hell, I /like/ helping people.
I recently swam a mile (35 laps. In a little over 43 minutes. Not bad, eh?) and didn't have to be carried out of the pool, and the last set of math tests I got back (last two, anyway), I got 100% on, which resulted in happy squees at nine AM (I startled a couple of people the first time. They were /not/ expecting cheer out of me that early) - this makes the Thorne very happy. I have not, however, managed to get anything (except DDO and random house-cleaning) done - so very little new art, almost /no/ creative writing (which is kind of upsetting, in a way) and not much in the way of blogging or website updating. Which you probably know. */sigh/* This does /not/ make the Thorne happy. *grumble*
On the other hand, I found a great recipe for caramel sauce in the Oregonian Foodday today and I may seize upon the opportunity and make time to make vanilla icecream! And have hot caramel sundaes, with whipped cream! And chocolate sprinkles! ... sprinkles in general? .... The Thorne deserves a treat, damnit!
Mmmmm .... *drool*
